We apply an ultra-thin coating of only 20–30 microns that remains flexible and durable. This allows effective nutrient control while maintaining granule strength during handling, transport, and application.

Our coating technology is compatible with a wide range of fertiliser substrates, across different sizes and shapes, providing flexibility for standard and custom formulations.

PurActive® Fertilisers Coating Process

PurActive® coating technology forms a protective polymer layer around each fertiliser granule. This layer regulates how moisture enters the granule and how nutrients are released, ensuring a steady and predictable nutrient supply for crops.

Heating
The raw fertiliser particle is prepared for coating using low-heat technology.

Spraying
An advanced polymer layer is sprayed directly onto the surface of the fertiliser.

Adhesion
The polymer layer sticks and begins to form a protective shell around the
particle.

Coating Particle
The finished fertiliser is now fully encased in a shell, ready to release

Our Process Advantages

Our coating services are enabled by patented low-heat manufacturing technology, delivering faster curing, lower energy use, solvent-free processing, and flexible production without compromising coating quality.

Curing Time and Faster Reaction 

Our curing and batch processing time is approximately five times faster than traditional controlled-release technologies, enabling higher throughput, shorter lead times, and more efficient production.

Low-Temperature Coating Process

Operating at temperatures below 70°C allows the safe incorporation of temperature-sensitive additives such as micronutrients, microbial inputs, and biostimulants without degradation.

Flexible Batch and Continuous Processing

A hybrid batch and continuous process combines flexibility with efficiency, allowing us to handle custom formulations while maintaining production consistency at scale.
